Rosanna is married to the much younger Riccardo, an aspiring writer. Andrea introduces Riccardo to a restaurant owner and his lovely sister Hikma. Andrea soon discovers that Hikma is pregnant with Riccardo's child. Recognizing the difficulties Hikma and Riccardo face, Andrea offers to help the couple and let them stay with him in his villa.
