Her days pass in a hermetic confinement devoted to the care of her father, a conservative man, and her mother, a practically absent woman. Defying the rules of her community and her family, Carmen secretly maintains an intense relationship with Sheila, a love that allows her to survive the world around her and offers her the possibility of a new life.--
