Review: We all realize the importance of understanding fundamental concepts dealing with energy, environment, sustainability, and their relationships, as they affect the quality of our lives. We also agree that a functioning democracy requires well-educated responsible citizens. Unfortunately, the vast majority of students today graduate from high school and college without developing any understanding of the role energy plays in their daily lives and how energy consumption and waste impact the environment and future generations
